# Assign students to the teacher

IELTS Groups allow you to assign students to trainers. Only assigned trainers can evaluate the tests submitted by students.

Navigate to the IELTS Dashboard

Under the module option, click on groups.

To create a new group, click on the plus ('+') icon on the top right.

1. Add a name to the group.
2. Select the students you want to add to the group
3. Select a teacher from the lower column.
4. Click on create

> Note: Please add a teacher to the WordPress user area before creating a group.
